Planning ahead for conference attendance!

Updated: Jan 28, 2019

Here are a few tips from Christy Wright in the Business Boutique podcast. It is business based, but I have found many uses for the tips and tricks shared for entrepreneurs and education consultants as well!

FETC is in full swing, and TCEA is coming up just around the corner!

A. Come with open hands, ready to receive, learn and grow.

Come with a posture of humility and free to give as well. You have knowledge skills, ECT. That can add value to others. Don’t hide your stuff and hold it close. Come with a posture of generosity and open hands to give value yourself.

B. Look for the good.

You will find what you’re looking for. If you go looking for the negative you’ll find it. If you look for the positive, you’ll find it as well. Regardless of the type of event, go looking for the good.

C. Go with the intention of connecting and meeting new people.

Check out these quick tips on getting out of your comfort zone. Start planning sessions to join in and go to. Build relationships.

For my edu consultant friends, consider this as you choose your sessions which you will attend!

What is the most important me and my business- resource is in the podcast notes..

Remember, there is always hope and always help.

Conference Planning Sheet

Even though it's labeled for business conference use, it can easily be applied in education based conferences as well!

For my eduprenurs and/or education consultant friends, consider this as well... Create target market personas to narrow down who you’re trying to reach with what products.

If you'll be at either FETC or TCEA I would love to see you / meet you in person! Click here to view my conference sessions at these conferences so that we can find one another.

Happy Learning and Safe Travels Conference Goers!
